Welcome to PrepForge. By accessing or using our website at prepforge.net (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

PrepForge is an interview preparation platform for software engineers. It provides curated interview questions, mock interviews, study plans, spaced repetition, progress tracking, and community features. The Service is provided by SSR Labs ("we", "our", "us").

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content without permission; reproduce, distribute, or republish content from the Service without authorization; interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers; impersonate any person or entity; or upload malicious code or content.

4. Intellectual Property

The PrepForge name, logo, and branding are owned by SSR Labs. Original explanations, editorial commentary, code solutions, and design materials created by SSR Labs are protected by copyright. Some content on the platform — including algorithmic problem descriptions and user-submitted interview experiences — may originate from third parties or the community. SSR Labs does not claim ownership of third-party content. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our original content without written permission, except for your personal, non-commercial study use.

5. User-Generated Content

You may submit interview experiences, notes, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and distribute it within the Service. You are solely responsible for your User Content and warrant that it does not violate any third party's rights.

6. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe that content on PrepForge infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to legal@ssrlabs.co.in with the following information: (1) a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (2) the URL or location of the infringing material on the Service; (3) your contact information (name, address, email, phone); (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf; (6) your physical or electronic signature. We will investigate and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the content in question.

7. Advertisements

The Service displays advertisements through Google AdSense. By using the Service, you acknowledge that ads are part of the experience. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Interview questions and study materials are for educational purposes only and do not guarantee employment outcomes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SSR Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or failure to achieve desired interview outcomes.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
